Lou Adler - (blog) Lou is the president of The Adler Group, a training and consulting firm helping companies make hiring top talent a more systematic process. His Amazon best-seller Hire With Your Head (John Wiley & Sons, 1997, 2002) started the performance-based hiring and selection movement. This was followed-up with the award-winning Nightingale-Conant audio tape program, POWER Hiring: How to Find, Assess, Hire and Keep Great Talent (1998). His latest book project, The Future of Hiring (2005), describes how to combine technology, creative sourcing, and a great recruiting organization to make hiring the best a true business process.
Adler is a veteran recruiter and founder of CJA Executive Search. His early industry career included general management positions with the Allen Group, as well as senior-level financial management positions with Rockwell International's Automotive and Consumer Electronics groups. He holds an MBA from UCLA and a B.S. in Engineering from Clarkson University, New York.
Carl Bradford - (blog) Carl has been involved in global recruiting for over 30 years. He began his career in corporate recruiting where he ultimately was responsible for global staffing. He worked for both large conglomerates and smaller employers where his corporate HR background included industry experience in aerospace, electronics, computers, oil and gas, and large-scale commercial real estate development.
For the past 15 years, he has been an independent recruiter, mentor and consultant to many corporate recruiting groups. In addition to his current recruiting practice, he works extensively as the National Practice Leader with The Adler Group. As part of his responsibilities with Adler, he is a trainer on many of the Performance Based Selection methods developed by well-known author and speaker, Lou Adler. He is the subject matter expert for Adler on recruiting technology that includes applicant tracking systems and the mapping and integration of best recruiting processes to these systems.
Bryan Johanson - (blog) Bryan Johanson is Executive Vice President of the Adler Group, a consulting and training company specializing in hiring process reengineering. He has been consulting and training for the last 8 years with companies as diverse as Mellon Bank, Royal Canadian Bank, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Arby's Restaurants, Panda Restaurant Group, REI, and the YMCA of the USA. His previous career includes over 15 years experience in management, the majority of which has been in high technology sales and marketing. His leadership experience in start-up companies and Fortune 500 companies has provided him with a unique perspective on the issues of hiring top talent.
Prior to The Adler Group, Mr. Johanson has held positions including Executive Vice President of POWER Hiring, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Enfish Technology, Director of Channel Programs and Services for Novell Inc., and Director Channel Programs and Strategies for WordPerfect Corporation.
Bryan is the father of eight children and lives and works in Parker, CO.
